Our Team
Steven H. Craft, Jr. – Principal
Steven received his B.S. degree from Mississippi State University. He is a husband, father, and entrepreneur following the legacy of his grandfather—a pioneer in the independent oil and gas industry—and his father, who founded and operated more than 50 companies under The Craft Companies.
Early in his career, Steven worked as a petroleum geologist alongside his father before moving into business development, where he raised significant capital for drilling ventures.
After years immersed in the family tradition, Steven felt called to follow God more fully, leading him to redirect his faith and entrepreneurial gifts toward a new purpose on Florida's Gulf Coast.
In 2020, he founded Lucleon Insurance in Destin, applying his risk-management expertise from the oil patch to protect families and businesses with the same diligence and integrity, allowing Floridians to sleep soundly through hurricane season.
Today, Lucleon stands as the latest chapter in a three-generation story of faith-fueled entrepreneurship: from independent oil wells to an independent insurance agency, the mission has always been the same—honoring God, serving people, and building something that lasts. God is faithful.
